Plant City is an inland agricultural hub east of Tampa, known for its strawberry farms and a workforce that includes many seasonal and bilingual workers. Scheduling here follows harvest and packing hours.
Getting to our office
From downtown Plant City, take SR-60 west or I-4 west to I-75 south, continue past Punta Gorda, exit to Burnt Store Road (CR-765) south into Cape Coral, then Pine Island Road east and Chiquita Boulevard S south.
Local information
- Recognizable points: McCall Park in downtown, the Florida Strawberry Festival grounds and the I-4 exits at Park Road and Alexander Street.
- Local health needs include type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory symptoms related to dust, heat exposure and field work.
- Allow about two hours; I-4 west to I-75 south is slowest between 7 and 9 a.m.
- Visits are available in Spanish, we hold early-morning slots outside harvest hours, and eligibility is reviewed by phone before you make the drive.
