Immokalee is an inland agricultural hub with a large Hispanic and Haitian workforce and long-standing gaps in specialist access. Our bilingual staff and early-morning visit slots are built around farm and packing-house shifts.

Getting to our office

From Main Street (SR-29), head north to SR-82 and follow it west through Lehigh Acres into Fort Myers. Continue on Colonial Boulevard west, cross the Midpoint Memorial Bridge to Veterans Parkway, then turn north on Chiquita Boulevard S.

• Common meeting points: the Seminole Casino Immokalee, the Immokalee Pioneer Museum and the SR-29 and Main Street junction.
• Community health priorities here include type 2 diabetes, uncontrolled hypertension and work-related respiratory irritation, often diagnosed late because of limited specialist coverage.
• Plan on about one hour by car; carpooling along SR-82 is common and Collier Area Transit serves routes within town before the drive.
• All Immokalee visits can be conducted in Spanish or with interpretation, and we hold 7 a.m. screening slots so participants can return before the afternoon shift.
