About this area
Fort Myers Beach
Fort Myers Beach is a barrier-island community still rebuilding after Hurricane Ian, with a mix of long-time residents, rebuilding households and seasonal visitors. Travel planning matters here because Estero Boulevard is the island's only through road.
Getting to our office
Follow Estero Boulevard to the Matanzas Pass Bridge, continue north on San Carlos Boulevard to Summerlin Road, then take Cape Coral Parkway west across the Cape Coral Bridge and turn north on Chiquita Boulevard S.
Local information
- Route landmarks: Times Square, the Matanzas Pass Bridge, the Beach Baptist area and the San Carlos Boulevard marinas.
- Post-storm recovery has raised local demand for respiratory care, sleep problems and blood-pressure management among residents who lost regular follow-up during displacement.
- Budget about 35 to 45 minutes; Estero Boulevard and the bridge slow sharply on weekend afternoons in season.
- We offer morning appointments for island residents and phone pre-screening so the first trip off-island is only made when you are likely to qualify.
