About this area
Port Charlotte
Port Charlotte spreads inland from the harbor with large retiree neighborhoods and several dialysis and cardiology practices that refer patients to research. Its residents reach us most easily by heading south on US-41 and Burnt Store Road.
Getting to our office
From Murdock Circle, take US-41 south across the Peace River into Punta Gorda, pick up Burnt Store Road (CR-765) south into Cape Coral, continue to Pine Island Road and turn south on Chiquita Boulevard S.
Local information
- Common starting points: the Port Charlotte Town Center, Murdock Circle, Bayfront Health and the Kings Highway corridor.
- Local referral patterns emphasize chronic kidney disease with hypertension, heart failure, COPD and type 2 diabetes in adults over 60.
- Expect roughly 50 to 55 minutes; US-41 through Murdock is slower midday than I-75, but Burnt Store Road stays steady.
- Port Charlotte participants often travel with a spouse or neighbor; we can schedule two screenings the same morning when both are eligible.
